XTIME Family
The XTIME 900 software provides a powerful basis of integrated Time management and Access control in one package.
Unlimited users give the user flexibility and capability to log on from virtually any PC on the network.
XTIME 900 provides extensive certificate and license verification. Live update of certificates provides powerful control over site access and activation of vehicles, cranes and stop/start controls of critical equipment.

Integration with online alcohol testers provides unique HS solution to the industry. This process enhances the safe work environment.

Database
An open database design enables easy multiple user operation. Our software platform forms part of the latest technologies and are runtime based, helping to eliminate dependencies on operating systems. Database variants include Microsoft SQL and Oracle, all offering high levels of security and stability. Predefined user logins, or standard windows network authentication allow system administrators to define various levels of user participation.
Skycom strive towards the idealistic "Single point of entry" IT model. Skycom successfully integrate numerous ERP or Master systems with

The XTIME 900 remains fully functional, whilst the control over the Master Data from SAP is maintained. Each system is therefore enhanced by the other, maintaining flexibility, whilst preserving the data integrity and influence required from the master system.
SAP -Interface Capability
Each interface project is unique and the design criteria are based on the motivation for the specific interface. XTIME 900 and SAP interface has been achieved numerous times and can almost be termed "Standard" in most cases.
SAP - INTERFACE ALTERNATIVES
Depending on client philosophy, reason for interface, IT policy and budget, Skycom is able to install the following interface types:
TXT - Inexpensive, Batch driven, Simplistic, outmoded
CC1 - More traditional, highly reliable, Highly configurable, Real time,
Bi Directional
PDC - XML Based, Semi Real time, more SAP Control - We have had requests for this but our clients has opted for the simpler CC1 interface once full understanding has been achieved. We do not have a PDC site as a reference but are happy to work together with a SAP consultant with PDC experience.
XI - Direct DB Access, Real Time, Bi Directional
WEBMETHODS - Used in conjunction with CC1 transactions passed into SAP.
System Integration
Skycom offers standard integration into many various brands of hardware and third party software systems. Some of the more recent hardware integration projects include Sagem Fingerprint Biometric Reader, HID Readers, Biometrics and the Finger Magic or Handkey Finger geometry units.
With the use of advanced controllers and input / output devices integration with CCTV-, Building Management- and Alarm Systems.
Various safety device interfaces exists and new third party devices are integrated regularly on client request.

Skycom provide customized solutions as part of their Integrated Security Solutions. Skycom provide complete solutions. We provide these solutions with the following basic principles in mind: a clear migration path and standard upgrades remain intact. With a variety of over 60 different reports, XTIME 900 Time and Access Management Software cover every aspect of employee, contractor, visitor, movement and time recording. A full demonstration of our significant array of reports is available on request.
Data Warehouse:
- Skycom database Design allows for Database warehousing
- A sound database design ensure that the correct structuring is utilized, the database rarely grows above 10 GB, even in larger sites and OLAP type tools efficiently process the data.
Skycom accommodate client specific requests for new structures within the databases.
Skycom provide technical guidance and development that might be required.
SOFTWARE TRAINING
Skycom is a registered member of the ISETT SETA (INFORMATION SYSTEMS, ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGIES SECTOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING AUTHORITY) A dedicated training department ensure that clients are trained on all aspects of the software applications.
The training is scaled to all level of users and also makes provision for re training off staff.
SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS
Skycom offers standard service level agreement to clients that address their needs on a 24/7/365 basis with technician standby included on weekends and public holidays if so required. SLA is customized to suite all the client's needs and requirements.
The Service Level Agreement includes the specific response from the hardware and software support staff.
Skycom prides itself on the nature of the support. Support is provided by well trained and highly skilled technicians from the various service centers.
